On her social media accounts, travel enthusiast Emily talks about how hotels and airlines can make stays more comfortable for larger guests. She also encourages others and calls on Instagram not to let “a tummy or stretch marks” stop you from seeing the world.
Emily suggests, among other things, larger towels and robes in hotels and adjustments on airlines to improve the travel experience for plus-size people.
Even these small adjustments, says Emily, would make the stay for plus-size people much more comfortable and inclusive. As “The Sun” also reports, the influencer recommends the Seychelles as a travel destination. The African archipelago is one of the best places she has ever visited as an overweight woman.
But the influencer also sees airlines as having a duty. For example, they should make boarding a plane easier for those who need additional services. Emily suggests to the Daily Mail that airlines could announce during the boarding process that seat belt extenders are available. This could reduce plus-size people’s fear of applying for one.
