An unusual stag party in Italy has become a case for the police. The event has been classified as blasphemous.
In Jesolo, Italy, a bachelor party of a special kind took place on Saturday. A kind of Stations of the Cross was staged, as “Il Gazzettino” reports. Eventually, even the police intervened.
The future husband carried a wooden cross made by his friends on his shoulders. He was dressed like Jesus – in a long white robe. Hundreds of tourists saw the scenes, writes “Il Gazzettino”.
But the whole thing became a case for the police because the action is considered blasphemous. The groom received a fine of 200 euros. The cross was also confiscated.
Another stag party did not go as planned: Scot Griffiths was in Portugal on a friend’s stag party, as the “Mirror” reports. The man discovered a café on Facebook that was for sale at home in England. He promptly bought the business for £20,000 (around €23,500).
The spontaneous purchase has a very special background: his wife wanted to have her own café. On their fifth anniversary, she received the title deed from Scot as a gift.
