A dummy wild boar on a children’s playground in Rodgau has triggered a police operation.
A concerned citizen informed the police in the early hours of the morning that he had been observing a wild boar on the children’s playground in Wasserfallstrasse for some time now.
The only strange thing was that the pig was completely motionless. The initial explanation for the animal’s atypical behavior was the suspicion that the animal might be ill. In order not to expose himself to any risk, the person reporting the incident kept a safe distance and only described the animal from a distance.
When a patrol from the Heusenstamm police station took a closer look at the wild animal, it turned out that the pig posed no danger whatsoever. However, the supposedly dangerous animal was only a plastic replica. In addition, the pig was partially sprayed with white paint and was missing a hind leg.
The dummy was taken into custody by the police. They are now looking for its owner.
