Exciting Music Festival Set to Debut in Humboldt

Living Skies Music Festival is set to make its debut in Humboldt on June 15, featuring a lineup of award-winning music artists such as James Barker Band, Jason McCoy, and Brock Andrews at Centennial Park.

The festival, organized by Tarell Sterner, President of 306 Event Management and a local from Lake Lenore, marks the first year of the event in Humboldt. Sterner expressed his passion for bringing the festival to his hometown area, collaborating with the City of Humboldt for years to make it happen.

Local artist Megan Brooks will kick off the festival with a performance, showcasing her unique blend of contemporary pop, rock, indie, and folk music. Other artists like Jason McCoy and Brock Andrews, along with Skrizzly Adams, Shantaia, Brody Siebert, and Jordyn Pollard, will also grace the stage with their musical talents.

The festival relies on volunteers for various tasks and has garnered approximately $100,000 in sponsorships to support the event and bring renowned headliners to the lineup. With free admission for kids 10 and under, the organizers hope to foster community support and grow rural events in the province.

Tickets for the event can be purchased online or at select local outlets. Attendees can enjoy food trucks, local vendors, and a 50/50 draw with proceeds going to STARS air ambulance. Local vendors are encouraged to participate, with some fees waived to support small businesses and artists in the community.
