Festival season is upon us. The first, and undoubtedly the only, STBBI screening festival is also back in force this year, from June 2 to 16.
Objective ? Take the complexity out of screening and, above all, make it easier to make an appointment in order to make it an annual habit, once and for all. In less than a minute on the website, festival-goers can find the screening clinic best suited to their needs, in their area.
This year, 70 partner clinics are joining forces to screen as many people as possible. Remember that 40,000 Quebecers are diagnosed with STIs each year (chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, etc.). Young people aged 15 to 24 are over-represented, with more than a quarter of infections (27%).
