Jeff Cobb Issues Challenge for AEW Forbidden Door 2024
The lineup for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 is starting to take shape, and today it’s Jeff Cobb who is stepping up with a challenge.
After successfully defending his NJPW TV Champion title at Dominion, Jeff Cobb announced during a post-show press conference that he is looking to face off against a member of the Elite.
“If you’re Elite, come and face me. Bring it on. The shiny golden belt that represents NJPW TV is calling out to you. I will make you famous.”
Currently, no Elite member has a match scheduled for the Forbidden Door event on June 23, 2024. So, whether it’s Matthew Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, Jack Perry, or Kazuchika Okada, anyone could accept the challenge, making it a must-watch moment.
Jeff Cobb is no stranger to Forbidden Door, having competed in two matches in past editions of the PPV. However, if his match is officially confirmed for the upcoming event, it will mark his first singles match on the card.
