You dreamed it, series creators Nikola Lange and Thomas Mansuy did it. The actresses Alexandra Lamy, Audrey Lamy and Chloé Jouannet will be reunited in a detective series for Amazon Prime Video, report our colleagues from Télé Star. The fiction, entitled Killer Coaster, will feature “Sandrine Laplace, a bumbling contract worker” who takes herself for “a CIA agent” who will infiltrate the closed environment of fairgrounds in order to investigate an accident that occurred “in the funfair local”, reports AlloCiné. The latter will have to team up with two carnies “without faith or law”.
“I can’t talk about it but there is something that will happen with the three of us,” Alexandra Lamy told Télé Star. If the actress remains discreet on the subject, her daughter Chloé Jouannet is much less so. “We are going to do a new series with Nikola Lange, the director of Derby Girl with whom I became friends. Filming starts next week”, she had declared to Télé-Loisirs and added: “It’s called Killer Coaster, it stays a bit in the universe of Derby Girl and we are also in the slasher genre. It takes place during the summer of 1998, during the World Cup in a funfair, it goes all over the place, it’s fine be awesome”.
This is not the first time that mother and daughter will collaborate on a joint project. In September 2022 was broadcast on TF1, the fiction Touchées, directed by Alexandra Lamy. Her daughter played the poignant role of a woman victim of incest. A role that was close to the heart of the young woman of 24 years, as explained by her mother to TF1 Info. “We have always discussed these subjects a lot, violence at school in particular. Unfortunately, we all have someone around us who has been affected and Chloe has a friend who has been affected. was important for her to play in the film”, she said and added: “Afterwards, I found that the role suited her extremely well. Because she has this strength in her. This is the case typical of an actress who can be a little bird…and who in a second can become a huge dragon!”.
