KOSI 101.1 radio station in Denver is getting ready to switch to a 24-hour Christmas music format for the 22nd year in a row. This popular tradition will start on Thursday, November 14th at 5 p.m. The station will kick off the switch with live broadcasts from the Moxy hotel in Cherry Creek North, located at 240 Josephine St. Santa Claus will also make an appearance at the event, making it a fun experience for all attendees.

The music lineup will feature classic Christmas songs from artists like John Denver, George Michael, Ella Fitzgerald, Mariah Carey, Dean Martin, and The Pogues. These songs have become a staple of the holiday season and listening to them has become a cherished wintertime ritual for many Americans.

Jim Lawson, the program director at KOSI, expressed excitement for the upcoming switch to Christmas music. He mentioned that the event at the Moxy hotel was a big hit last year, prompting them to host it there again this year. The festive atmosphere and the joy of the holiday season make it a perfect location to celebrate the start of Christmas music on the radio.
