Liverpool FC Extends Support to Alan Hansen
A legendary defender, Alan Hansen’s remarkable career with Liverpool FC spanned over 14 years, during which he secured numerous accolades. Joining the club from Partick Thistle in 1977, Hansen clinched eight league titles, three European Cups, two FA Cups, and three League Cups. Affectionately known as ‘Jocky’ by his teammates, the Scottish center-back ranks among the top 10 for all-time appearances for the club, having played 620 matches. Additionally, Hansen served as Liverpool’s captain for four seasons.
