So, like, this dude in his thirties got seriously messed up after getting hit by a Metro A Line (Blue) train in South-Central Los Angeles. Apparently, it went down at 5:41 p.m. on Washington Boulevard near Griffith Avenue. The Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson, Margaret Stewart, spilled the tea on this unfortunate incident. The train tracks in that area are no joke, crossing a super busy intersection with a bunch of lanes for cars.

The poor guy was rushed to the hospital, according to Stewart. It’s a mystery why he was even on the tracks in the first place. No one on the train got hurt, though, so that’s a relief. Not really sure why this matters, but the post got updated to remove some info about potential delays. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like that’s not the most crucial detail to focus on.

At the end of the day, accidents happen, and it sucks that this guy got hit by a train. Let’s hope he pulls through and gets back on his feet soon. Stay safe out there, folks, and watch where you’re going, especially near train tracks. You never know what could happen in the blink of an eye.
