Germans at Ballermann sometimes behave badly. But the bouncers at the party venues are also notorious. Two bouncers have now been arrested.
Two bouncers at the Bierkönig bar at Ballermann on Mallorca are said to have beaten up a German holidaymaker and have been arrested. The victim from Cologne told the police that one of the bouncers had grabbed his girlfriend’s bottom on Wednesday night, police said on Thursday.
When the German confronted the bouncer, several of his colleagues surrounded him and attacked him. The bouncers rejected this account. In fact, the German attacked them.
The holidaymaker told the police that one of the security guards held him down while another hit him. When he fell to the ground, the employees of the party venue kicked him. The man suffered a broken nose and ribs and was taken to hospital.
Last year, there was already violence by bouncers against holidaymakers. A video made headlines in which the guards of a nightclub chased a group of Germans with batons through the so-called Schinkenstraße.
