McLaren had a fantastic start at the Sao Paulo Sprint race, with Oscar Piastri maintaining his pole position and Lando Norris right behind him. The first lap went smoothly with the top three drivers holding their positions, although Max Verstappen tried to challenge Charles Leclerc for third place but ended up locking up into Turn 1.
Meanwhile, there was some action further back in the field as Haas driver Ollie Bearman had a moment of oversteer which caused him to lose a few positions. On the other hand, his teammate Nico Hulkenberg was able to gain two places. Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes also faced some challenges and dropped a couple of places from his starting position in 11th.
