A man was injured by several shots in the Mitte district of Dortmund on Thursday evening.
A witness reported to the emergency services about loud bangs on Eisenstrasse, the police reported. Shortly afterwards, two men fled in an unknown direction in a car.
The injured man was taken to hospital. A homicide squad has begun investigations. Witnesses have been asked to contact the police.
