A Milwaukee man, John Dzwonkowski, has found himself in legal trouble after being accused of stealing items from a Walgreens store on three separate occasions within a week. The stolen items consisted mostly of cleaning and sanitary products such as soaps, toilet paper, razors, lotions, and other household goods.

According to police records and Fox 6, Dzwonkowski now faces two counts of felony retail theft as a result of his repeated actions at the store located on Howell Avenue. The criminal complaint states that the first incident was reported to Milwaukee police on Sept. 18 when the store manager informed officers that a thief had entered the store in the morning and started taking various items without paying for them. The stolen merchandise was estimated to be worth $178.

Just two days later, another theft complaint was made at the same Walgreens location involving Dzwonkowski. This time, he was caught stealing razors, lotions, and other cosmetic items totaling $435 in value. The pattern continued on Sept. 25 when surveillance footage captured Dzwonkowski taking 107 cleaning and household items worth $889.63 in a black garbage bag from the store. He even went as far as taking a soda without paying for it before leaving the premises.

Dzwonkowski’s actions have landed him in legal trouble, and he was scheduled to make his initial court appearance this week to address the felony retail theft charges brought against him. It is essential to respect the rules and regulations of businesses to avoid facing serious consequences for one’s actions. Stealing not only harms the store owners financially but also contributes to higher prices for honest customers. Let this be a lesson to others who may consider engaging in similar behaviors.
