A man between 40 and 55 years old was found lifeless at Angrignon Park, in the Sud-Ouest arrondissement, Monday afternoon. The police are currently speaking of a “suspicious death”.
Police received a call around 1:55 p.m. for a dead man in the northern sector of Angrignon Park, near the metro station of the same name. They noted his death upon their arrival, his body lying near one of the park’s lakes.
The identity of the man is not yet known. However, we know that the man arrived at the park on Sunday, during a small party with friends. The people present there left the party last night, but the body was found today.
The police are therefore trying to understand what really happened “between yesterday, the last time those around them saw [the victim] and today”. Police are treating the case as a “suspicious death” and insist all hypotheses are open.
Investigators are on site to meet witnesses and try to elucidate the circumstances of the event. The scene is protected by patrol officers and a security perimeter has been erected.
