After 18 years of broadcasting, France 3 will broadcast the last episode of Plus belle la vie this Friday, November 18 at 9:10 p.m. Fans of the series will have the pleasure of finding the famous characters of the Mistral in a new plot for their last appearance on screen. In this final episode entitled “Seven weddings and a funeral”, the inhabitants of the Mistral are still under the influence of emotion following the death of Roland Marci. His youngest son Kilian wishes to honor his memory and bring smiles to the people of the neighborhood. He then goes to ask Betty in marriage and decides to organize a big party on the square. His idea and his happiness spread. Quickly, a wave of marriages is announced. It is no longer one but seven marriages that will finally be celebrated. But before getting there, the future wives and husbands will experience many adventures…
In this last episode, aficionados will have the pleasure of finding doctor Guillaume Leserman (Virgile Bayle), who had gone on a humanitarian mission with his new wife, and Djawad Sangha (David Baiot), the ex-companion of Estelle Cantorel (Elodie Varlet) who had escaped from prison and who had disappeared from circulation. However, some iconic characters won’t be making their return for the ending clap. This is the case for Mélanie Rinato, played for 14 years by Laëtitia Milot. The actress was ready to make her comeback and did not hesitate to make several foot calls to the production. However, the production decided otherwise. “Bringing an actor back just to bring him back is pointless and wouldn’t be giving him a gift,” producer Claire de la Rochefoucauld told Allociné.
Like Laëtitia Milot, Dounia Coesens (Johanna Marci), Aurélie Vaneck (Ninon Chaumette) and Fabienne Carat (Samia Nassri) and Avy Marciano (Sacha Malkavian) will also be absent from this last episode. Michel Cordes will logically be absent since his character, Roland Marci, is deceased.
