A federal grand jury in Dayton has recently indicted 14 members of the Thug Riders Motorcycle Club, which is considered an outlaw motorcycle gang, as per the U.S. Department of Justice. The indictment accuses the club of running a criminal enterprise where members and associates were involved in violent activities such as murder, arson, assault, extortion, and identity fraud. The individuals charged in the indictment have been named along with their aliases, ages, and cities of residence.
Specifically, seven defendants, including Robles, Marshall, Peters, Fisher, Smith, Beach, and Henry, are charged with racketeering (RICO) conspiracy in count one of the indictment. The other counts in the indictment charge the defendants with assaults, attempted assaults, and conspiracy to commit assaults. The racketeering conspiracy charge carries a maximum penalty of up to 20 years in prison.
This indictment and subsequent arrests are part of an investigation by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, indicating a coordinated effort by law enforcement agencies to tackle organized crime activities in the region.
