Vancouver Middle Eastern Restaurant Closes its Doors
Vancouver is experiencing a wave of restaurant closures, with another beloved establishment shutting down. Paramount Fine Foods, a popular Middle Eastern restaurant, has quietly closed its only location in British Columbia.
Dished contacted Paramount, who confirmed that the closure was due to the end of their lease, and they made the decision not to renew it. The restaurant was known for its authentic and affordable Lebanese cuisine, all of which was 100% Halal. Paramount Fine Foods has branches in various countries, including Canada, the US, Lebanon, Pakistan, and the UK.
Since opening in 2017, the restaurant served delicious dishes such as the Mezze plate, featuring hummus, mouttabal (eggplant dip), and tabbouleh (herb salad). Fans of Middle Eastern cuisine are sure to miss this spot in Vancouver.
