Munich rampage prison sentence for operators of the Darknet platform

The operator of a Darknet platform, the Munich-based gunman in July 2016, and his weapon was purchased, has been sentenced to imprisonment for a term of six years. The regional court in Karlsruhe sentenced the 31-year-old man on Wednesday, among other things, negligent homicide and assault.

The cyber crime specialized Prosecutor’s office of Mannheim had called for a total sentence of nine years and five months. The two defenders of the accused had waived a specific request to the penalties.

In July of 2016, an 18-Year old on, and in the Munich Olympia shopping Mall nine people and shot himself. Gun and ammunition was concerned the 18-Year-old about the Darknet, a hidden area of the Internet.

The actual arms dealer, in the case of the Munich killing spree, the regional court of Munich I, had been convicted in January of 2018, to seven years in prison. The man had sold a gun and ammunition to the young offender.
