Four men and a woman were arrested in connection with the murder of another young man which occurred in January in Saint-Lambert, the Longueuil Agglomeration Police Service (SPAL) announced Thursday.
On January 18, Gabriel Lauzier, 20, was found seriously injured by a firearm in the parking lot outside the Saint-Lambert station. He was then transported to hospital, where he died of his injuries.
The five suspects were arrested on Wednesday and will appear at the Longueuil courthouse later today.
Two of them, Nicolas Brossard (18 years old) and Muwaz Ullah (19 years old), will be charged with second degree murder. They will also face charges of robbery, pointing a firearm and possession of a prohibited firearm.
The other three people arrested are a 17-year-old man and a 17-year-old woman, as well as a 20-year-old man.
