Lucas L., a young farmer, confessed to being the perpetrator of the murder of Justine Vayrac, whose body was found on Thursday October 27. Following his confession, many questions about the circumstances of the murder remained unanswered. In the meantime, the autopsy of the victim has shed light on some of them. The results of the autopsy, however, contradict the statements of the accused.
Lucas L., indicted for forcible confinement, rape and murder, would have shown a certain coolness, as reported by France Info, citing a person close to the investigation and having had access to the file.
The toxicological report of the autopsy will make it possible to determine if the victim had been drugged during the evening preceding the tragedy. Regarding the hours following the murder, certain elements of Lucas L.’s behavior immediately intrigued the investigators.
The young man would indeed have sent a message on Instagram to Justine after his death. He also reportedly responded to people who were concerned about her disappearance, assuring them that she was in the company of another man at the alleged time. Thus, Théo, the main witness of the investigation and friend of Justine, for example, would have communicated with Lucas during the night of the murder.
Shortly after the murder, the accused would have cleaned his car from top to bottom, leaving however some traces of the young woman’s blood on the gear lever, which will later allow the investigators to confirm their suspicions.
Finally, he would have taken another young girl in his vehicle, with whom he would have spent part of the night. That’s when Justine’s phone rings, which is still in her car. Questioned by this friend, he then pretends a professional call, which she will later confide to the police… Who doubts this explanation.
The day after the incident, Lucas L. went to a football match and then attended a family meal, following which he was taken into custody and questioned.
