The Montreal National Day show is titled Une chance qu’on s’a, a nice nod to Jean-Pierre Ferland, who died on April 27. Hosted by Pierre-Yves Lord and directed by Pierre Séguin, the big gathering is marked by nostalgia. Claude Dubois, Roxane Bruneau, Patsy Gallant, Queenie, Daniel Lavoie, Kanen, Éléonore Lagacé, Judi Richards, FouKi and Le Vent du Nord will participate. For those celebrating at home, the big show will be broadcast at 8:30 p.m. on ICI Télé and TVA and, on the radio, on CKOI, the five Rythme and CIME stations.
