Newcastle United Makes Strategic Hire for Stadium Expansion Project
Newcastle United has brought in a property expert, Brad Miller, as their first specialist chief operating officer to lead the club’s capital investment strategy. Although the club has emphasized that Miller’s role is not solely focused on the stadium expansion project, his extensive experience in leading major development projects, including the £1.3bn transformation of Manchester Airport’s terminal two building, positions him as a key figure in driving the project forward.
While the feasibility study on the stadium expansion remains ongoing, Newcastle United is exploring various options, including the renovation and expansion of St James’ Park or the construction of a new stadium in a different location within the city. The club’s chairman, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, has been actively involved in discussions regarding the project during his recent visit to Newcastle.
