Giants cornerback is entering his fourth year as a participant
Florida firefighters were called to the house of New York Giants cornerback Isaac Yiadom on Sunday to rescue a cat that has been stuck beneath the NFL player’s automobile.
Fort Lauderdale firefighters posted an update on the ordeal on their Facebook page. Officials said the kitten was stuck”over the rear of his vehicle.”
“Thankfully the kitty was much slower and less agile than Isaac and crews were able to generate a successful rescue. FLFR for the triumph!” The Facebook post read.
Yiadom’s Maserati was partly disassembled to make it to the cat. The creature did not appear to be hurt.
The 25-year-old was selected from the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft from the Denver Broncos. He had 63 tackles and an interception.
He was traded to the Giants before the start of the 2020 season. He played in all of the Giants’ 16 games, beginning in 10 of these. He had 46 tackles and a half-sack.
Yiadom might have to compete for a while in 2021. The team signed Adoree Jackson in the offseason and drafted rookie Aaron Robinson. Darnay Holmes is also another contender to start daily.
