An armed suspect is currently driving around Natashquan in the Route 138 area. A police operation is underway in this Côte-Nord village, according to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), which declared an imminent threat alert on Wednesday around 7:50 p.m.
The SQ asks people in the area to stay safe. “If you are in this area, do not approach the suspect, lock the doors, stay away from the windows,” she posted on X, inviting those who can leave safely to do so.
