Cailyn captioned the video, which has been viewed over 8.4 million times, “Why are my Bumbledates always so weird? It was so embarrassing.”
Julia happened to come across the video while scrolling through the social media app the day after the date. The recording showed her talking to Cailyn at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant, where they had first met.
In the video, Julia can be seen saying something romantic during the date. When Cailyn asks if they can cover the bill, Julia responds with funny and unusual comments that made some users think she might have taken drugs before the meeting.
After Julia discovered the video on TikTok, she didn’t let the public humiliation get to her. Instead, she took it with humor: She added her own reaction to part of Cailyn’s video and humorously sang “Oh my god”. She captioned the video: “Didn’t expect to see me on my ‘For You’ page today.
Many of her followers are celebrating Julia for her reaction. “I love your funny nature. Stay true to yourself. Everyone else just wouldn’t understand,” writes one follower. “Please defend yourself,” comments another. “Great,” writes another, but adds somewhat skeptically: “I hope you’re well.”
