There were apparently two pro-Palestinian demonstrations in Berlin on the night from Sunday to Monday. “Caliphate now” was shouted and several people were arrested.

Around 100 pro-Palestinian demonstrators are said to have gathered on Alexanderplatz around midnight, and the group also chanted “Caliphate now”. Insults were also made against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “Bild” reports on this.

After around an hour and a half, the demonstration broke up again and the police were on site with over a hundred emergency services. It is not known whether there were any reports.

There was also a pro-Palestinian demonstration at around 1:40 a.m. on Sonnenallee in Berlin-Neukölln. The participants are said to have set fire to garbage containers. A complaint has been filed against several people who apparently belong to the left-wing spectrum.
