Maison agricole Joy Hill, in Frelighsburg, finally opens its large garage door to welcome customers, starting Saturday, June 15.

It will be possible to shop for bottles in the bright boutique, but also to sit on the terrace to taste.

In addition to the Joy Hill vintages, there will be those of Pastoral, a new trading label launched by the same team. It highlights hybrid and experimental drinks, such as the Avant les Lumières cuvée, a blend of white Frontenac and Riesling fermented on Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Chardonnay marcs. There are also “piquettes” with very nice alcohol content.

To snack on, you can order meats from Charcuterie Scotstown, cheeses from La Station, Missiska and Fromagerie Les Broussailles, then Miett’s beloved chips. The House will be open Wednesday to Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday until 5 p.m.
