The La Tanière Group, with its Restaurant of the Year Award for its gourmet restaurant Tanière3 and the Mixologist of the Year award given to Simon Faucher this week, has just opened a cocktail bar in Quebec, near of Petit-Champlain.

Le Vieux Carré, named in honor of a classic made with rye, cognac, vermouth and Bénédictine, is adjacent to the L’Orygine restaurant.

It is also the chef and co-owner, Sabrina Lemay, who concocted the short menu of small things to eat. But we mainly go to this intimate place to drink.

There are about twenty options, with or without alcohol. The room with about 20 seats is intimate, but the terrace with a view of the Place de Paris and the river can accommodate many more guests.

To discover this summer in Old Quebec, away from the overflow of tourists!
