Orlando Magic ahead Aaron Gordon acknowledged Tuesday he has asked the company to get a commerce and is expecting to be transferred ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline.
Gordon stated he made the request due to the”frustration” with the group on many of issues. The Athletic reported Monday the Gordon requested the Magic for a transaction back in February.
“There has been times where I simply voiced my frustration to control,” Gordon told reporters. “Frustration with all the losses, the accidents, and how we have been playing, how we have been playing and the number of losses have accumulated through recent years. So it is only my frustration type of boiling over I’d say. … I feel a great deal of individuals share that opinion with mepersonally, of frustration”
Gordon, 25, was chosen by the Magic with the fourth overall choice at the 2014 Draft. Since Gordon was chosen prior to the 2014-15 year, the Magic have gone a joint 203-322, qualifying for the playoffs only twice and getting knocked out at the first round every time.
When asked if he’s still optimistic for a commerce, Gordon demurred, attempting to center on the Magic’s game Wednesday night against the Phoenix Suns.
