Orville Peck and Kylie Minogue recently collaborated on a new song called “Midnight Ride,” which was debuted at Outloud Fest. The song, which features Diplo as well, is part of Peck’s upcoming album, Stampede. Peck expressed his excitement about working with Kylie and Diplo, calling it a dream come true. The duo performed the track live at Outloud Fest, delighting the audience with their country-meets-disco vibe.
In addition to “Midnight Ride,” Peck has also released Stampede Vol. 1, a collection of duets with artists like Willie Nelson, Elton John, and Noah Cyrus. One of the tracks, “Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond Of Each Other,” featuring Nelson, has received praise for its important message about LGBTQIA+ representation.
Peck is currently on his North American Stampede Tour, with upcoming performances scheduled throughout the fall. He also announced his 6th annual Rodeo event, set to take place in Nashville in August. The event, hosted by John Waters, will feature a lineup of talented artists including Medium Build, Mickey Guyton, and Tanya Tucker. Tickets for the event will go on sale on June 12th, promising a fun-filled celebration of music and community.
