Introducing the New Hoot Ti Trail Hardtail by Otso Cycles

Press Release: Otso Cycles has unveiled their latest creation, the Hoot Ti trail hardtail. Crafted with premium titanium, the Hoot Ti is designed to bring excitement to any trail. The frame is constructed with 3Al/2.5V grade 9 titanium, known for its lightweight and lively characteristics that complement the playful Hoot Ti geometry. Paired with a custom Fox 36 Performance Elite Fork offering 140mm of travel, the Hoot Ti promises an exhilarating ride experience.

The Hoot Ti boasts 3D titanium printing in the rear UDH dropouts and chainstay yoke, along with short stays, providing a dynamic and playful ride. The geometry of the bike is optimized for fun, featuring 425mm chainstays for nimble handling and consistent head tube and seat tube angles across all sizes. With a slack head tube angle, long reach, and low bottom bracket drop, riders can confidently tackle downhill rides on challenging trails, while the steep seat tube angle facilitates technical climbs. The design allows for longer travel dropper posts and encourages creative and playful riding without limitations.

The innovative 3D titanium printing in the rear dropouts and chainstay yoke enables the Hoot Ti to maintain short chainstays while accommodating 29” x 2.6” tires. The unique dropper post routing port placement offers a clean and unobstructed look, with cable clamps molded directly into the chainstay yoke for shifter cable and brake routing. The rear UDH-compatible dropouts ensure compatibility with all drivetrains and integrate the post mount brake caliper inside the rear triangle.

Equipped with a custom Fox 36 Performance Elite 140mm travel fork, the Hoot Ti is designed for aggressive trail riding. Customers can choose from various build options, including frame only, frame and fork, or complete bike using the Otso Custom Bike Builder. This customization feature allows for a personalized bike tailored to individual preferences and riding styles.

While the Hoot Ti is Otso’s first mountain bike designed for trail riding, Otso engineers have a strong background in mountain bikes, having previously introduced the Otso Fenrir for bikepacking. All Otso bikes feature suspension-corrected geometry, allowing for the installation of a suspension fork without compromising the bike’s original design. The Hoot Ti is a testament to Otso’s commitment to innovation and quality in the cycling industry.

The Hoot Ti is available in four sizes – S, M, L, and XL, with limited availability for the initial release. The frame-only option is priced at $3,300 USD, while the base build spec starts at $6,100 with upgrade options. Customers can purchase Otso bikes directly from OtsoCycles.com or through authorized bike shops.
