Patrice Michaud speaks out for the first time about his mysterious professional break
Last summer, unexpectedly, Patrice Michaud canceled all his upcoming shows. Now, a year later, he finally gives an update.
“I’ll keep it simple. Nearly a year ago, I put my professional life on hold. I needed rest, perspective, and love. I have a job that I love very much. But it’s also a job that wears you down. You have to listen to the signals and count the breakers that are still working on the panel. There weren’t many left, let me tell you. So, I stepped back to take care of myself and my loved ones. I also stepped back from social media (no joke, give yourself that gift from time to time). I had to stop to learn to slow down. And then, gradually, quietly, I embarked on beautiful projects with beautiful people. I’ll talk more about that later. And gradually, I’m coming back here. I’m doing better. I’m fine. See you soon, Patrice.”
