PayPal is a very popular online payment and transfer platform. In particular, it allows you to make online purchases in complete security, thanks to the sophisticated encryption to which the transactions are subject. This platform will also allow you to send money to other users, just like a classic transfer.
Finally, PayPal provides you with double security with regard to scams or other fraudulent purchases… Indeed, they will reimburse you for any expense related to a scam or any purchase of damaged items. Be careful however, before you can benefit from this kind of refund, you will have to declare a dispute with the seller.
If a PayPal payment or transfer has not yet been accepted by the recipient, it is still possible to cancel it! To do this, go to the “activity” section of your account. You will then see a summary of all your past payments. Select the incorrect transfer and click on the cancel link.
A new navigation page will then open, on which you will have to click on “cancel”. The money should be returned to your PayPal account within 30 days. Even if you sent money directly from your bank account, and not from your PayPal balance, it is on the platform that the sum will be returned. It will then be up to you to make yet another transfer to move the money from your PayPal account to your bank account. If that doesn’t work, know that you can always file a complaint on the PayPal site.
