A convicted sex offender escaped during a supervised outing in Essen on Tuesday afternoon. The police reported this and are searching for the man using a photo.
“The 46-year-old man was able to escape from his supervisor in a shopping center on Limbecker Platz at around 3 p.m.,” the police reported. An intensive manhunt for the convicted man is underway.
