Two young men in Duisburg hit and kicked a homeless man so badly that he had to be hospitalized.
The 60-year-old was physically “significantly impaired” and was unable to defend herself against the two attackers, police announced on Sunday. According to the report, the attackers, who were presumably in their early 20s, took a cloth bag from her that contained the woman’s care allowance, which she had recently withdrawn from a bank.
After the incident on Saturday morning, the two men fled on bicycles. The search for the perpetrators has so far been unsuccessful. The police are looking for witnesses.
