The Duke of Sussex lately spoke out from the’Armchair Expert’ podcast
The British royal household is allegedly unimpressed with Prince Harry’s latest tell-all.
The 36-year-old spoke candidly with bunch Dax Shepard about how he considered quitting royal life on many occasions while in his 20s.
On Wednesday, a source informed Us Weekly that Prince Charles and Prince William are supposedly”livid” with all the most recent interview and wish Harry would”talk” his”remarks” privately.
“It certainly has not helped with healing the rift,” the insider claimed, imagining that the family does not want to”participate” with Harry’s public remarks.
“They believe that it was thoughtless and irresponsible of Harry to again shade The Firm so soon after Prince Philip’s death, whilst the queen is still mourning the death of her husband,” the source also alleged.
Another source also promised that”Charles might never forgive” his eldest son for speaking out so negatively.
Harry thought his life was like the 1998 Jim Carrey movie”The Truman Show.”
Harry said it was a heavy burden and he fought to cope with being a member of the royal family. He feared his wife Meghan Markle, who is pregnant with the couple’s second child, in addition to their son Archie, could have to deal with the spotlight the same way his late mother, Princess Diana, needed to manage the enormous focus.
In 1997, Diana died in a car crash at the age of 36 in Paris while being chased by paparazzi.
“I don’t need this particular job, I do not want to be here, I do not wish to do so. Look what it did to my mum,” he said.
Throughout the interview, Harry also gave listeners a glimpse into his relationship with his father Charles.
“He treated me how he was treated,” said Harry about the 72-year-old.
It has been rumored that Charles had a little of a rough relationship with his own parents.
“It’s a lot of genetic pain and suffering that gets passed anyway,” explained Harry. “So we as parents should be doing the most we can to attempt to say’You know what? That happened to me, I will make sure that does not occur .'”
The priest said that he expects to”break the cycle” within his family after realizing his dad’s parenting was a manifestation of his own upbringing.
“I never watched it, I never knew about it, and then suddenly I started to piece it together and go,’OK, so this is where he went to school, this is what happened, I know this about his life, I know that is connected to his parents that means he’s treated me how he had been treated, just how can I change for my own kids?'”
He added:”And I am, I transferred my entire family to the US, that was not the plan but sometimes you have got make decisions and put your family first and place your mental health .”
During his sit-down with Oprah Winfrey at March, Harry reported the royal family cut him off financially at the start of 2020 later he announced plans to step back from his roles. But he was able to afford security for his family due to the money his mom left .
He criticized some American media outlets but stated they are an improvement over those in the U.K.
“Living here now I can actually lift my mind and really feel different,” said Harry, who added he is able to shoot Archie for bicycle rides. “You could walk around feeling just a little bit more free.”
