Paul Arcand will leave the airwaves of 98.5 FM at the top. When he hangs up his microphone next Friday, June 14, the popular host will abandon the morning time slot with 34.8 market shares, the highest of the entire schedule, reveal the spring Numéris surveys.
Covering the months of March, April and May, the latest survey confirms the domination of 98.5 FM within Greater Montreal with 23.7 market shares, ahead of ICI Première, which stands out with 17.7 shares, after recording a 7.3% increase from the previous spring.
Despite a drop of 26.6%, Rythme FM maintains its third position in the ranking with 10.5 market shares, ahead of CKOI (8.7 shares), which makes a jump of 30% compared to 2023. Rouge (8. 4 shares), ICI Musique (6.6 shares), Énergie (6.5 shares) and WKND (2.3 shares) bring up the rear.
