The daughter of actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Shiloh, began legal proceedings to remove her famous father’s name from her identification papers on her 18th birthday on Monday.

Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt filed her petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court on May 27 to change her name to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie, the Los Angeles Times reported.

She is the third of six children of the former actor couple. Shiloh, one of Jolie-Pitt’s three biological children, was born in Swakopmund, Namibia on May 27, 2006. Her siblings include Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and twins Knox and Vivienne.

Shiloh, who voices one of the characters in the film Kung Fu Panda 3, is the first child of the Jolie-Pitt stars to request a legal name change. However, other children of these Hollywood stars have abandoned the public use of their father’s last name in recent years, the Times reported.

Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in September 2016, but divorce details have not yet been finalized.

The actors, who married in August 2014, have filed lawsuits against each other in recent years over disagreements over their joint businesses and assets, including a wine property in France, the Times reported.
