Reports about his future have yet to be addressed by the 44-year old quarterback

Tom Brady won seven Super Bowls and broke all-time passing records, giving the illusion that he could play forever. According to reports, the legendary quarterback will soon declare it’s over.

According to ESPN and NFL.com, Brady will announce his retirement at 44. This would end perhaps the most successful career in the history the National Football League. Brady dominated the league for more than 20 years during an unparalleled run of longevity, performance and success after being selected in sixth round.

Brady’s camp didn’t immediately confirm that a final decision was made regarding his status, causing a day of speculation about whether such a decision has been made. The account responsible for Brady’s TB12 company had tweeted Saturday that it was celebrating his achievements and saying, “Thank you for everything.”

Donald Yee, his agent, stated that he understood the speculation regarding Tom’s future in a Saturday statement. Tom will be the only one to accurately express his plans without getting into the inaccuracy or accuracy of the information. He is well-versed in the realities of football and the planning calendar, so it should not be surprising that he will soon be able to share his plans with complete accuracy.

Bruce Arians, the Buccaneers coach, confirmed that Brady had reached out and stated that he wasn’t yet certain.

Brady’s life would come to an abrupt halt when he was named the quarterback in his own pantheon. The most cherished Super Bowl rings are the six with New England Patriots and the last year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He holds the record for most completions, passing yards, and touchdowns. He outlasted all the players who came after him in their careers and retired so quickly that they are already in the Hall of Fame. Brady is expected to join them in five more years.

The NFL suspended him for four games after he was accused of being involved in the deflation and restraining footballs before a playoff game.

It is both surprising and inevitable that he might decide to quit. He previously stated that he wanted to continue playing until he turned 45. He seemed to have no obstacles on the field: Brady was the NFL’s leader in passing yards, touchdowns and touchdowns in 2021.

He said that he would make a decision on the basis of family and not football after their playoff loss to the Buccaneers last weekend. He stated a desire to spend more with his family and with his wife, supermodel Gisele bundchen. She has expressed her desire for him not to retire previously.

Brady will leave the NFL with an unparalleled legacy. He established a New England dynasty. He elevated a struggling franchise to the title in Tampa Bay. He was the first quarterback to win the Super Bowl in NFL history, and now he is the oldest. After rising from relative inobscurity to become one of the most important players in the sport’s history, he won three times.

Brady, who spent four years at Michigan was selected by the Patriots with the 199th selection of the 2000 draft. Bill Belichick, their new head coach, chose Brady to replace Drew Bledsoe as the starter. New England had previously drafted Brady with the No. 7 years prior, the No. 1 overall pick.

One play, however, changed the course in football history in the second game Brady’s 2001 second season. New York Jets linebacker Mo Lewis struck Bledsoe and inflicted injury. Brady began the next game, and won 11 of 14 starts. This started a run that established his reputation as a player who can win in the clutch. He led several comebacks, including one against the Oakland Raiders in the playoffs. This was a game that is most well-known for his “tuck rule” play, which was then called a fumble and ruled an incompletion.

He won the Super Bowl in stunning fashion. The Patriots were 14 points behind the St. Louis Rams and their powerful offense at the time. Brady took a 17-3 lead after Belichick’s defense held the Rams at bay for the majority of the game. With 90 seconds remaining, St. Louis returned to tie the game. Brady marched his offense down the field in order to score the game-winning field goal. The 24-year-old was the youngest Super Bowl winning quarterback after the ball passed through the uprights.

The Patriots finished 9-7, missing the playoffs the following season. However, the Patriots would not miss the playoffs again in his other seasons with the team. In 2008, he sustained a knee injury that ended his season. This was also one of his most impressive facets. That year was the only one he missed because of injury.

His ability to avoid sustaining severe injuries is best explained by how he played the sport. Brady was able to subtly move around the pocket while using sixth sense for passing rushers. Brady was able to get rid of the ball faster than anyone and he rode the wave of change that swept through his career. The NFL has recently overhauled its rules in order to protect its players and especially quarterbacks.

These abilities were evident when the Patriots won back to back Super Bowls in 2003 and 2004, giving them three consecutive Super Bowls. They remain the only club to have won consecutive championships.

Brady’s best statistical season was in 2007, when they lost the championship. Belichick provided Brady with a wide range of passing tools in 2007. For just four rounds, the Patriots acquired Randy Moss, a mercurial, but super-talented wide receiver.

This deal came before a remarkable year for Brady and the Patriots. Brady threw 50 touchdown passes and only eight interceptions to earn the second of his three Most Valuable Player Awards. The Patriots were 16-0 in the regular season. They didn’t just beat their opponents, they destroyed them. Their winning margin was an average of 20 points during those wins.

However, the juggernaut was unable to complete a perfect Super Bowl season against a quarterback and team that would be a familiar foe. New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning orchestrated a game-winning touchdown drive. Tyree’s catch, when he held the ball against his helmet, was the highlight of the game. The Giants won the game and repeated it four years later against Brady and the Patriots.

This was the ninth consecutive year that New England and Brady failed to win in the big game. They won the title again in 2014, beating the Seahawks 28-24. In the final seconds of the game, Russell Wilson, Seattle’s quarterback, made a spectacular interception from the 1-yard line.

Brady’s postseason legacy is tied more to a phrase that is still taboo at Foxborough, Mass. : Deflategate.

Although the Patriots had defeated the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 45-7 in the AFC Championship that year, controversy broke out after the Colts complained that one of their footballs appeared to be too low. The investigation revealed that Brady and his team deliberately deflated footballs below NFL standards, as the quarterback preferred them that way.

This bombshell made football fans amateur physicsts. They debated various explanations for inflation while the league conducted an investigation. The investigators released a 243-page report, which concluded that Brady knew of two team employees releasing air from the balls. Brady and the team vigorously denied the accusations, putting the NFL’s most famous franchise and its best player directly in conflict with the league.

Brady was suspended for four games while the Patriots were fined $1million and had their draft picks taken away. Brady appealed Brady’s suspension in court and was allowed to play the entire 2015 season. However, the saga lasted over a year. Brady was finally allowed to play in the entire 2016 season after an appeals court reversed the decision.

With his piece de résistance, he vengeanced it. Brady returned from suspension and led the Patriots to victory in the Super Bowl. This was the greatest Super Bowl comeback ever. was down 28-3 in the third period to the Atlanta Falcons. He stormed back and won the game in overtime.

The Patriots lost the Super Bowl in Philadelphia to the Eagles the following season, before winning it again one year later. This gave Brady six ring with New England. The last one was a 41-year old.

After a 2019 season in which Brady’s numbers had dropped, the Patriots lost the first round of the playoffs. He became a free agent for the first time in his professional career. There were serious concerns about his future. Was he still an efficient player? He was asked if he would return to New England. He could play for another coach than Belichick, and for a different owner that Robert Kraft with whom he had formed a close relationship.

Brady replied that he signed with Tampa Bay because it gave him an offensive-minded coach, Bruce Arians, and the offensive talent he had lost in New England. Rob Gronkowski (former Patriots tight end) joined him. He retired.

He addressed any questions regarding his abilities. Brady won his seventh Super Bowl, when the Buccaneers defeated Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. This concluded the 2020 season.

His play continued to give the impression that he can play forever. He shined in 2021 with another strong season. He almost pulled off even more Brady magic. He managed to pull off a dramatic comeback that tied the game before the Los Angeles Rams won the last minute.

Brady left the field that day for what could be his last.
