Star rookie guard LaMelo Ball was cleared to restart individual basketball action after a CT scan on his fractured right wrist revealed it has cured, the Charlotte Hornets stated Monday.
According to the group, Ball had additional test on the wrist Dr. Michelle Carlson of The Hospital for Special Surgery in New York on Monday.
While the Hornets didn’t state when Ball is going to have the ability to go back to match action, a source told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski that there is optimism he would be prepared to return to the lineup in 7-10 days.
Ball suffered the injury on a drop in a March 20 reduction to the LA Clippers.
The third overall selection in the 2020 NBA draft, Ball has averaged 15.9 points, 6.1 assists and 5.9 rebounds this year.
