An exceptional closure to make up for delays. The Pays de la Loire pension insurance fund will close all Carsat reception centers in nine cities in the region from December 5 to 16, 2022, according to information from Ouest France. The objective of this “operation punch”? Prioritize the processing of pension application files.
And for good reason: the region is a bad student in terms of file processing. A few days ago, the pensioners’ unions denounced only 1,800 files being processed out of the 42,000 treated, which corresponds to 4.2% of late files.
Sarah Papin, of the CGT-FO-CFDT inter-union, regrets this closure, which she describes as “a major deterioration in the quality of service to policyholders”.
During these two weeks, receptions without an appointment and with an appointment as well as the hotlines will be deleted.
The management expressed in particular its desire to “strengthen production capacities and process the stock of pension application files. We want to give priority to processing to be up to date and that the payment of pensions requested on January 1, 2023 is made” .
Here is the list of the nine agencies that will no longer welcome you from December 5 to 16, 2022:
So take your precautions if you plan to make an appointment during this period.
