Among the newly unveiled attractions are the Boeing F-15QA Ababil, promising high-speed manoeuvres that will thrill spectators.

In addition to the Boeing F-15QA Ababil, attendees can look forward to the Royal Moroccan Air Force and the Norwegian Yellow Sparrow display team showcasing their skills. The Yellow Sparrows will be making their debut performance in the UK, while the Royal Moroccan Air Force returns to RIAT after nearly three decades.

The event, scheduled for 19-21 July, has already seen Saturday tickets sell out as excitement builds. With an average attendance of 150,000 people and over 250 aircraft on display, RIAT promises to be a thrilling experience for aviation enthusiasts.

This year’s RIAT is placing a special focus on the F-16 as it celebrates its 50th anniversary, along with commemorating 75 years of NATO and the Royal Canadian Air Force’s centenary. The theme of “Pushing the Boundaries in Air and Space” pays tribute to 100 years of military aviation test and evaluation flying.

Among the previously announced attractions are the renowned Red Arrows, Spanish Harrier, Patrouille Suisse, and Canadian Hornet, adding to the excitement of the event. The presence of iconic fast jets and unique aircraft will provide a diverse experience for attendees.

Paul Atherton, CEO of the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust, expressed his enthusiasm for this year’s RIAT, highlighting the show’s exploration of various aspects of aviation. He encouraged interested individuals to secure their tickets early and not miss out on the opportunity to witness the spectacular displays.

In an effort to engage young people in STEM and aviation, RIAT will feature interactive exhibits and speakers at the Techno Zone and Inspire Stage. Attendees under 18 years old can enjoy free entry to the show, aiming to inspire the next generation of aviation enthusiasts.

As preparations continue for RIAT 2024, the anticipation and excitement surrounding the event are palpable. With a diverse lineup of aircraft and performances, attendees can expect a memorable experience celebrating the rich history and innovation of aviation.
