The third round comes to a close this Saturday at Roland-Garros, with a highly anticipated match between world number 1 Novak Djokovic and Italian Lorenzo Musetti. The last Frenchwoman standing, Varvara Gracheva, defeated Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu in two sets.

Following Corentin Moutet’s qualification for the quarterfinals, Varvara Gracheva secured her spot in the second week by defeating Irina-Camelia Begu. This is the first time she has reached this stage of the competition at Roland-Garros.
