After giving them a new album last month, the Rolling Stones continue to please their fans. Even though its frontman Mick Jagger celebrated his 80th birthday in July, the group is going back on tour.
The Stones announced this Tuesday the dates of sixteen concerts in the United States and Canada. Bad luck for Montreal fans, the only show in the country is planned in Vancouver. Other stops include Orlando, Las Vegas, Chicago and Los Angeles.
This North American tour by the legendary British rock band follows the October release of Hackney Diamonds, their first album of original songs since 2005.
In addition to certain pieces from this latest opus, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood will perform big hits on stage, including Start Me Up, Gimme Shelter, Jumpin’ Jack Flash and Satisfaction, according to their website.
Ticket pre-sales will begin on November 29.
