(Bos-Le-Duc) Canadian Bianca Andreescu qualified for the final of the grass court tournament in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, thanks to a 6-4, 6-2 victory over the Hungarian Dalma Galfi.

The 23-year-old Ontario native is competing in a second tournament after a 10-month absence due to a back injury. She entered the tournament ranked 228th in the world.

In the final, Andreescu will face the winner of the duel between two-time defending champion Ekaterina Alexandrova and second-seeded Liudmila Samsonova.

Andreescu will be appearing in her first final since the 2022 grass-court tournament in Bad Homburg. She will be aiming for her first title since her triumph at the 2019 US Open.

Against Galfi, Andreescu had four breaks of serve and was the victim of only one break of serve.

Galfi called a medical timeout in the second set.
