Pop star Florian Silbereisen is celebrating the “Schlagerboom Open Air” in Kitzbühel. The show was announced as a live event on ARD, but many fans are confused.
The weather in Kitzbühel is bad on the evening of June 8th, with thunderstorm warnings. But at the Silbereisen show “Schlagerboom Open Air” in Kitzbühel, the sky is blue.
ARD had announced the TV event live. Silbereisen’s guest Andrea Berg also spoke of a live event: “I’m really looking forward to being able to present my new single to you for the first time live on ARD and ORF on June 8th at the big Schlagerbooom Open Air in Kitzbühel,” the singer announced on Instagram.
But on X (formerly Twitter), many fans are confused by the different weather conditions. “Shouldn’t this be live?” asks one user. “Because of the storm, you’re seeing a recording. From when?” asks another.
And then Silbereisen confirms this when, after an hour of broadcasting, he suddenly talks about the dress rehearsal for the European Championship and hopes for an Austrian victory. At this point, the game was already over. Austria played 1:1 against Switzerland.
