Season 2 of Popular Series Premieres on Streaming Platform

Naila Media has announced the release of the highly anticipated second season of a popular series, Beyond the Veil. The new season is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video starting June 7, 2024, in various English-speaking territories including Sub-Saharan Africa, USA, Canada, United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Australia.

The series, known for its authentic portrayal of Northern Nigerian culture, has garnered widespread praise and success. According to data from Prime Video and Flix Patrol, Beyond The Veil has consistently ranked in the Top 10 in 18 countries for a total of 169 days, captivating audiences with its compelling storytelling and well-developed characters.

Season Two kicks off with Na’Ima (played by Jemima Osunde) recovering from a previous accident, with the support of her friends Badriya (Norah Ego) and Hanifa (Maryam Booth). Na’Ima focuses on her mental and physical therapy, all while navigating new challenges including a budding romance with Matthew (Vine Olugu).

The series delves into the personal struggles of its characters, such as Badriya’s dual life balancing an abusive relationship with her public image, and Hanifa’s financial difficulties stemming from her husband’s business failures. Additionally, Zizi (Ame Aiyejina) resigns from her position as ADC to the minister following the death of Bappa, opting for a more low-key lifestyle.

Beyond The Veil is the brainchild of creators Sifa Asani Gowon and Nadine Ibrahim, who also serves as the director and co-executive producer. The production team includes producer Folawewo Aiyegbusi, writers Sifa Asani Gowon and Brenda Garuba Ogbuka, and executive producers Bilal Ibrahim, Nabil Zeitoun, Fareed Zeitoun, and Ishaya Bako.
