Selling Sunset Star Chrishell Stause Makes Soap Opera Comeback with Neighbours Role
Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause is set to make a return to soap opera acting by joining the cast of the popular Australian show Neighbours. Stause, known for her roles in All My Children and Days of Our Lives, will be playing the character Yasmine “Yas” Shields, a glamorous and successful businesswoman seeking new opportunities.
Expressing her excitement for the role, Stause stated, “I am honoured and excited to join such a beloved and iconic show. Coming from the world of soaps in the US, it’s back to my first love in the entertainment industry.”
Neighbours executive producer Jason Herbison also shared his enthusiasm for Stause’s involvement in the show, teasing that her character will bring intrigue and surprises to the storyline.
Stause gained popularity through her appearance on Netflix’s Selling Sunset, where viewers witnessed her navigating million-dollar real estate deals and personal relationships. The reality star is now married to Australian non-binary musician G-Flip, whom she met during her time on the show.
Apart from her television ventures, Stause is set to have a leading role in Netflix’s upcoming film Hot Frosty, alongside Lacey Chabert and Dustin Milligan. Neighbours fans can catch new episodes on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US, and on Channel 10 in Australia.
