The countdown begins. On October 15, Star Academy is making its comeback on television on TF1. Twenty years after the first season, one of the most famous academies of the PAF will soon reopen its doors. After three special evenings bringing together former students and good ratings from viewers, the elements seem to be in place to open a new era.
For this tenth season, TF1 and the production of Endemol have operated several novelties in order to give a second wind to the Star Academy. If Nikos Aliagas remains the conductor of the flagship show (precursor of The Voice), he will be in charge of a major live show every Saturday evening at 9:10 p.m. A time slot that made the best hours of entertainment during the first three seasons, before being broadcast on Friday evening (seasons 4-8) then Thursday evening (in season 9 on NRJ12).
After the opening show and the presentation of the tenth promotion of Star Academy, the students will go to the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys, located in Seine-et-Marne. In the second part of the evening, viewers will follow their first steps with the host Karima Charni, former resident of the academy revealed in season 4, who will be at their side on the bus to collect their first impressions. An appointment to live from 11:35 p.m. on TF1, then live all night thanks to the premium access TF1 Max.
Starting October 17, Star Academy fans will follow the adventures of their favorite contestants during The Daily. Broadcast Monday to Friday at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday at 5:20 p.m., the public will discover the moments of the adventure of the academicians: the debrief of live performances, lessons, evaluations and other moments of life at the castle. Without forgetting the dissemination of the adventures of the candidates online on the TF1 site, as well as on social networks.
“Love, hate, friendship, rivalry, joy and sorrow”, set the tone of the credits of the first season in 2001-2002! Twenty years later, work, rigor and precision will still be the key words that will guide them in their learning. But, who will get the chance to enter Star Academy?

As soon as the tenth season of Star Academy was announced, fans were immersed in their memories and the nostalgia of their youth. From frenzied bonuses to duets with the biggest stars, without forgetting the anthems and other highlights of the academy, this madeleine of Proust rocked many fans during confinement in 2020.
Two years later, more than 20,000 applications have been sent to the production, in the hope of passing the casting. After several months of selection, 13 new candidates were chosen to join the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys. Among them, a first student named Enola was announced by Nikos Aliagas, in person, on the program Danse avec les Stars, on September 16.

Before being able to sing with great artists and deliver incredible performances in front of millions of faithful on TF1, the young residents will pass the famous evaluations every Tuesday in front of the teaching staff. At the end of the exams, the three candidates deemed the weakest of the week will be named and submitted to the votes of the viewers. One of them will be saved by the public, the second by his comrades and the last will be eliminated.
To supervise the new students of the Star Academy, the producer Michaël Goldman was chosen as director. With Le Parisien, the co-founder of the MyMajorCompany label returned to his new role. “I was very surprised. It seemed to me to be a huge turning point for the show because I’m not the type to settle the problems of atmosphere between the students or the punctuality of the candidates. On the other hand, I I have a real musical experience since I have been working in this industry for twenty years”.
The famous son of Jean-Jacques Goldman will also be surrounded by five teachers (in dance, sport, singing, theater and scenic expression) and two coaches to help them prepare for the Saturday evening bonuses. As of now, their names have yet to be revealed.
Their names are Jenifer, Nolwenn Leroy, Élodie Frégé or Grégory Lemarchal… Since 2002, nine winners (five women and four men) have entered their names on the list of the famous program. If all the candidates of season 10 aspire to follow in their footsteps, one of them will achieve victory after two months of intense work.
In terms of rewards, the winner receives the sum of 100,000 euros (unlike the million euros during the first seasons), with the signing of a contract for an album with Sony Music Entertainment France. Winnings that will allow the winner to follow their dreams!
